Three Music Videos

There are three different categories of music videos out there. They consist of:

• Performance based
• Narrative based
• Conceptual

Performance

An example of performance based videos is Green Day. The point that the video mainly consists of is performance based clips, with little parts of narrative.

Performance based videos usually fall under the rock genre. This is to show how powerful playing music is and show it's importance.

Narrative

An example of a narrative music video is Evanescence - Bring Me To Life. This video has the same sort of idea that we had for our music video.

A narrative video falls under many genres of music as they all have griping story lines. This video is a goth/metal genre.

Conceptual

A conceptual video is a video that has no meaning behind it, but can be very random. However, our video does not contain this point.

An example of this is Daft Punk - Da Funk. This is a very random video that doesn't seem to make any sense.
